This bug is still in the game and read developers were going to fix it.

Though now was posted that the game was finished I am wondering if this bug will be fixed, or at least the achievements removed if it isn't possible so achievement hunters can finish the game 100%. It might not matter to most, but if it is in any way possible I would like it to be fixed.

I have the same concern. I recently finished the game. That last mage was tough. I had noticed that during some missions, I had not received influence points even though I had completed all parts of the Main and optional quests. I didn't worry about it to much at the time, but now, there are achievements that I failed to achieve, not because I didn't accomplish what was asked of me, but because I didn't receive credit for doing so.
