Hi people,I don't wanna to spam or to be a troll....But Really I think is impossible to win with Germany....I don't know how the people in the 1.03 beta RC2 can made Greate Reich,I get Smashed Everytime in France,in my last try I managed to beat France in 1941,but I lost almost all my manpower,When I invaded soviet Union,I have 164 divisions and the Soviets have 323!What I should do?My troops lose all organization,arrive in a province and get kicked back!I can't mobilize much troops!And this happen in 1933 and 1936 scenarios :(
 
You start in 36, right? I hope you aren't trying to break through the maginot line. Do you invade through the BeNeLux countries?

Yes,I advanced historical,starting in may of 1940,after capturing Luxembourg the war turned in a bloodbath worst than WWI,It's a chaos,but France lost all his manpower first,and I take Paris,It's Crazy to defeat France with less numbers
 
I generally play historic and attack France no later than mid-May of 1940. My best advice is to do what I call the Sedan Tar Baby tactic. Blast through to Aroln quickly with your ARM and MOT, easy to do. Then turn into Sedan and let a huge infantry battle develop there once the leg units catch up. At that point I disengage with my mobile units. Sedan now acts as a blocking point for all of those French troops coming up from the Maginot Line. I then turn the Panzers northeast through Liege and circle around through Mons-Lille-Amiens. Once you break through the line send your Panzers hell-bent to take as many provinces as you can. I usually surround Paris to knock out supply for the rest of the country and only take it later.

My force is usually 10 LARM, 15 MOT, 60 INF, 6 MTN and 4 PARA. I have the MTN hold Freiburg. I leave about 9 INF at Mainz and Strasbourg. The rest of the INF screens the Dutch-Belgian border and goes into Luxembourg to eventually hit Sedan. The mobile forces all start at Trier and go Luxembourg-Arlon-Sedan. I usually drop the PARA on Brussels and Antwerp as they are usually empty and I let a mobile column connect up with them.

My airforce is 12 INT, 8 FTR, 12 TAC and 8 CAS. I use a lot of ground support, never ground attack, as I am not interested in killing retreating units, I want to take territory. Once I win a battle the planes go to another active battle.

Try it, it may work for you as it usually does for me.

Then you actually did better than the Germans.

They had 157k casualties, with almost 49K deaths depending on how it's counted.
 
And I have 1 million and 253k losses :(

Well...I started Again,with German in 1933,I will industrialize until 1936 and spam mass infantry,because Every other Strategy failed :closedeyes:
 
Here's an example build-up from the 1936 scenario. I do some dumb stuff you can strip out for the sake of winning (like building any ships at all) and a bunch of annoying stuff happens to me, like about five smear campaigns from Belgium of all places, and Austria refusing a 50% chance of "Demand Territory" about six times, which cost me about 800 money and six months. Still, I'm sure it'll all go FINE...

6: Remilitarisation of the Rhineland knocks my dissent back to zero - this is key with Germany, do all your dissent-increasing stuff like terms of service and minister swaps just before you get an event that lowers your dissent.

7: Set trade options to stockpile money - use diplomatic campaign every time you hit 500 money. This means you can spam diplomatic campaigns and make all of Europe love you.

8: Pile up army in Berlin, detach all attachments, put engineers on tanks, put arty and AA on the same divisions - make one "slow but strong" army

11: Intervening in Spain. I also signed the anti-comintern pact a little while ago. Intervening in Spain doesn't really get you much, since Franco is a stubborn ass who won't join the Axis. You'll get a few blueprints for your trouble, though.
