A small presentation:
Hello PI forum community. I'm Marshall18. I've played PI games since HOI2 and bought Arsenal of Democracy the year it was released. I haven't played in a long time and I'm not such a good player, so have paitience with me
I'm starting in the 1936 scenario with everything in normal (hopefully I will survive for a while). Any questions, suggestions or advice, feel free to write here
Hope you will enjoy it
Introduction:
Since 1933 Hitler had already spoken openly about the "conquest for Lebensraum in the East and its ruthless Germanisation" as his ultimate foreign policy objectives. The foreign policy aims of the country had already been maken public (such as the Anschluss with Austria, the restoration of Germany's national borders of 1914, rejection of military restrictions under the Treaty of Versailles, the return of the former German colonies in Africa, and a German zone of influence in Eastern Europe).
Germany withdrew from the League of Nations and the World Disarmament Conference in October 1933. In March 1935 Hitler announced an expansion of the Wehrmacht to 600,000 members—six times the number permitted by the Versailles Treaty. Although war doesn't seem imminent at this point, it is clear that "something is cooking".
