Problem is that Britain always spheres the boer states so it can't declare war on them so can't annex them at colonist the land to the north and then spain ends up colonising most of south africa

Even then, if Britain spheres Southern Rhodesia, because ENG is the cultural union tag of the 'British' Culture, Rhodesia petitions for annexation and is quickly reabsorbed into the Empire :headdesk:
