Just a small suggestion: for the display on map notification when one country annexes another, instead of zooming to the capital of the country that annexed the other, could you have it zoom to the (former) capital of the country that was just annexed?
Usually the countries that annex others are familiar (e.g. the U.K., France, the Netherlands), but the countries that they annex are not. By the time one clicks on zoom for the notification, the country is gone, so one does not even know which continent it was on, unless he reconizes the name. I know we should all be better at geography, but especially for mods that add in additional countries, this would be a nice touch.
