starting this as i'm going slowly but surely mad about ai behaviour regarding traits, so this should be a small input as how ai should handle traits, feel free to comment:
- panzer leader: MEC and ARM only
- commando: commando only (as all other untis get a penalty for that)
- sea wolf: submarines only (they are just too fe historically)
- spotter: CVs (thats wild wild guessing, though!)
- fleet destroyer: no idea how this is calculated, but i am sure that my units were bombed by the USMC (fleet destroyers)
now from the other perspective, the units:
- GAR: Old Guard, maybe Old Guard with LW trait preferred. currently AI pics LW leaders for GAR units, so eg MacArthur likes to command them in Panama for Years
- NAV: fleet destroyer, however ai doesnt get this
- CAS/TAC: Tank Buster. again, AI has no idea about this. its using TB leaders with INTs and fighters
