As the UK has not yet recognized a nation of Albania we wonder why the Italians are stopping the Greeks and Serbs from putting an end to chaos in one of the regions in the Balkans? The Ottomans created a mess in a region they no longer wished to rule and those in the area capable of ruling are trying to resolve the problem. Surely this is not war worthy?
People rushing to defend homes does not a nation constitute. Obviously some form of peaceful settlement is preferred but this is not some random naked aggression of larger states against smaller. This is not Germany and France deciding to split up the lands of Belgium. This is not Italy and the Danube Federation deciding that Switzerland has had a good and proper run but their time is up. The land was abandoned by its rulers and it has taken some time for the surrounding nations to sort out how best to handle the situation. They appear to have a plan decided upon but execution of that plan has thus far been admittedly poor.
Surely the United Kingdom will realise that the Kingdom of Albania is the only part of the region recently abandoned by Ottoman authority that was not in chaos and turmoil. The Albanian People took it unto themselves to build their own nation out of the rubble, and quite enthusiastically at that, as the thousands of volunteers rushing to the defence of their country prove. We are quite shocked that a nation as powerful and prestigious as yours would tolerate, no, even encourage such a blatant act of agression against such a small nation.
You say that solving the issue is "surely not war worthy", yet it is the nations of Greece, Serbia and Montenegro that have started this war. Surely you can not condemn the Albanians for defending their homes and lifes, and neither the Italians for honouring their promise to defend these proud people?
The German Empire condems the acts of agression against Albania, and asks for negotiations and a peaceful settlement.
