It seems as the AI is -never- willing to ally iself with me, no matter how much relations Ive got with them. I see the great powers ally themseflves left and right, but im left all alone here lol. Anyone experince the same thing?
yea in my opinion the whole relation system is pointless. I had the same experience. I guess its more a game for super power countrys who can influence other countrys to get allys.
The AI regulary allies itself with me. Only to break the alliance a few months later. Once i remember invading the USCA(as Greece trying to maintain my GP status) and my (uncalled)UK allies broke the alliance and 1 month later they actually intevrened on the side of the USCA.
There is a bug in many games GB and Russia continually ally and dis ally i guess there is the problem that the AI doesn't seek an alliance that would bring down the most powerful nation but allies with the most powerful
In one of my games as Bavaria, it seemed Austria and Prussia would swap alliances with me. For a few months, I would be allied with Austria, then they'd drop out. Shortly after that, Prussia would offer me an alliance, and after a few months, they'd drop out. That cycle repeated at least three times until Prussia decided to keep me.
