Well, I'm back here and I see some good news for us: a new release for our favourite mod!! thanks again Mr Bestmajor for all your efforts for all these years!

Thank you especially for the Wang Jingwei Regime which always appear in my games. Btw I found that japanese leader Tamaki Harukazu's pic is JPEG (I already corrected for myself)...

Also my brazilian friend Marcos found a few identified new french generals, I'll send you their pics soon.

EDIT 3: Re: Xiao Shuxuan and Yang Kuiyi

It seems that they are.

That page is talking about 申振纲, but wrongly use 富雙英's picture.

a more polished version of the Wang Jingwei Regime (U87): http://www.filefactory.com/file/1nojh40airan/WJW_v2b.rar

Does anybody know what kind of post Ren Yuandao (Head of Navy in Wang Jingwei's 'empire') held in Wang Kemin's regime (U74)? Translation fails always, unfortunately. I figured a lot of ministers are the same persons, so if i find about ten generals, this could see an improvement as well.
http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/任援道
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/任援道

Chinese Govt. 1936.
NB there is a conflict in the Chief of Staff slot maybe (and also between Pinyin and Wade-Giles; i think i stay with Pinyin in general, just Chiang Kai-shek should be called Chiang Kai-shek).

EDIT: Chen Quian should be called "Cheng Quian" of course. fixed. http://generals.dk/general/Cheng_Qian/_/China.html

EDIT2: Oh, and i probably forgot to say that Takahashi Korekiyo is a part of the JAP government now. So when the 2-26 Incident occurs he should be slept with all options of the event.

吕春荣/ Lü Chunrong was a lieutenant general in Wang Jingwei Regime. you can also make him a Minister of Security.

歐陽格/ Ouyang Ge, a major general in ROC Navy. Executed by the navy in 1938.

well i could blame some websites for the previous mistake, this one is really 100% my confusion. thanks so much.
i think there will be a v43 soon.

v43 is out, 1st post this thread

There are a few event images (MOL-RIB, Panay, Death of Lin Sen, IIRC that is it).

Some TTs for South Korea, PHI, ENG, FRA, CHI, LIB, BEL, BOL, TIB, U72 (communist Vietnam), ARG and maybe others i forgot to mention.

Just one ill for CHI, which shows the chinese light cruiser Ping Hai (for the Wang Jingwei regime and the Wang Kemin regime as well).

Otherwise a lot of typos fixed and name corrections, mainly in latin america. Most images go to Asia (China, mostly) once more.

Something which was new for me was the colouring of coloured people (i.e. black people), mainly in Haiti, Liberia and Ethiopia.
I think i can live with the result.

Right of course, I just hope that I find a better pic someday.

Found no info on him after 1940, sorry.

Yes, I have them in Luxor's Pact of Steel!

Just found an interesting link on french generals !: http://museedesetoiles.fr/#

Hungarian people here.

EDIT: found two new italian generals: Giuseppe Costa & perhaps Alessandro Aorti (if so this one unfortunately irrelevant to the game); see pages 62-63 of the link.

Also some good pics of french air force general here and here: LTG Henri Jean Jeaunaud (1892-1976): BG 1936, MG 1939, LTG 1940, retired 1941. N.B: colour pic already done for long...

Btw found a pic of air force MG Paul Léon Victor Marie Péquin (1891-1973) as a colonel in 1937 (was commander of air force in Tunisia during Operation Torch).

And general André Claude Chevillon leader #24032 here.

thanks for the flags. just you only have the war ensign (for U87), like DH. well, i wait for Titan then :). just the original flag does not seem to match with the HoI2 flag scheme, maybe?

thanks for the additional info, too.

mini advert (dont have much time ATM, i'll do most things next year)

Japanese Ski inf, Phips Fequant and Bodet

plans for the next release as i envision it ATM: some french, bring ITA to a french level and CHI as well, so majors are more equally covered.

well and benden, you should seriously think about opening a thread like this one: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=208862

JAP, CHI and FRA are niche countries, so do not expect too much feedback (i uploaded images over a couple of pages before i had some retourn of investment), but sometimes a few members do contribute indeed (also scans of images they bought somewhere http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=208862&start=180#p1899572). i found it very useful for JAP.

EDIT:

and for the free french, a management TT would be nice. they had nothing in london, so it should be person i think. for instance i thought of Camille Gutt for BEL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camille_Gutt - is there a french counterpart (government in exile?).^

EDIT2: and Marseille a bit bigger (now all mistakes are visible :( ): http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&p=1914313#p1913251

Good job as always, Bodet for IDC thanks! I thought you had a pic of him with cap and cigarette too?

Very good news, do you plan to add some politicians too?

Remember I open a thread there once; only Steen and you managed to post a reply!

First name which come to mind for the office is Jean Monnet but he was not a Gaullist and clearly the man of the Anglo-Saxons. Good candidates, although less skilled would be either René Pleven (available from the start) or Pierre Mendès France (available from 1941).

Yes, I noticed it in the thread, I even tried to use it as a Facebook background but unfortuately it was a bit short!! I love it much nevertheless!

Btw did you notice two potential new FRA air force full generals (Aubé and Mouchard) on this pic and this one too?
N.B.: Georges Aubé (1884-1971): BG 1934, MG 1937 then full general 1937 too; in vacation from flying staff 1940, retired 1945. Henri Eugène Mouchard (1885-1959): BG?, MG?, LTG?, full general 1939, in vacation from flying staff 1940, retired 1945.

do you have dates of birth as well? i'm still following the rule of OG = birth before 1880 (even fro Rundstadt now, i'll have to re-check some germans for this).

as for your thread at AHF: that was an ID thread, not a "i present pics to you"-thread. but i would also say that french generals are probably even more unpopular then japanese ones. and even with the japanese i posted images for about four pages until i received some feedback. now it seems dead again, unfortunately, so the "return of investment" was low, but still useful.
that is up to you, maybe it would be better to open such a thread in your french forum http://atf40.forumculture.net/?
