Chapter 4: We March Unopposed!​

Part II: Day by Day... Nothingness!​

September 3-15, 1939, Eastern Poland, Poland​

On September 1, 1939, the German army advanced across the Polish border to liberate the Free City of Danzig. This was the first battle of the conflict on the German side, the Battle of Westerplatte. Strangely, even though the Polish were prepared to take on Germany in the city, there was one factor that caused the entire defense to be abandoned… Soviet support! As soon as the war started, there were Soviet ships and planes supporting the German advance. An attack that would have normally taken the Germans seven days to accomplish and cost them a good deal of men, only took three days! This setback to the Polish and the Allies showed that a German-Soviet team might be the closest thing to invincible as anything in the history of warfare…

Day by day, there is nothing. We march forward with no one in our way. Was this alliance with Germany an invitation to war? Can we, together with Germany, really overcome the entire Earth and bring the Allies to their knees? Only time will tell…

One by one by one, Polish cities fell under Soviet occupation! No armies, no defenses, no battle! Just the Red Army marching into either defenseless cities or poorly defended cities. Why did the Poles not defend against the Soviets? Did they think that Germany would invade alone? Will Uncle Joe and Hitler dance on the ruins of Warsaw MJ-style? Is there hope... or will the Sun fall upon the world, never to rise again?

The advance is amazing! Comrade Stalin will be pleased!​

Hope for salvation is fading. Germany is already moving some of its divisions to the border with France. Many predicted that this war would topple the Great War in sheer brutality. They have all agreed on one thing... World War II has come and I don't think even the United States could help the Allies win this one. The future is ultimate.

Chapter 5: To Warsaw We March!​

Part I: At The Gates of Warsaw​

September 16-22, 1939, Eastern Poland, Poland​

By the time the middle of September rolled around, the Red Army was no longer unopposed! The Polish had actually managed to hold off the German advance and were now focusing on the East. Stalin was not worried though, in fact, he was actually pleased that his army was now being tested. However, the Poles could not hold off the Reds and defend from the west, so they split their army into two defending armies. Though there was one question that the Polish government was asking, "Where the **** are the Allies? The answer.... defending from Germany on the French border, fearing a Red invasion of India, and doing absolutely NOTHING TO HELP POLAND! Was this wise, or was it another mistake that would lead to their downfall?

Stalin was sitting in his office, waiting for further reports on the war. Molotov walked in and Stalin knew he had news.

"Comrade Stalin."
"Comrade Molotov."
Molotov took out a map.
"I have the reports from the front."
"Let's see 'em."


Stalin looked pleased and displeased at the same time.
"Hmmm..."
"Is there something wrong Stalin?"
"I see a magnificent Red Tide, but why have the Germans moved so slow? I thought they had the Panzers?"
"They think because we are also attacking, they don't need to put in any effort."
"Pshh.. Fascist pigs, why are we aliied again?"
"Because... because.. hmm.."
"Whatever, just keep the advance moving and let's see if we can actually occupy Warsaw before them."
"Yes sir."
Molotov began to walk out but turned around.
"Oh, by the way the voting has closed in Tannu Tuva."
"And?"
"They have voted for annexation."
"Wonderful!"
Molotov walked out. Stalin was thinking.
"Why are we allied?"


The advance in Poland continued while Germany continued to fail!
