The National Unity Party
The National Unity Party (NUP)
While the other parties offer lots of talk and propaganda, the NUP will simply state its policy positions and let the German people decide.
- Universal suffrage: We of the NUP support all German people in their desire to express their opinion in forming a Greater German government. As such, we support a policy of suffrage for all Germanic peoples in Greater Germany, including Austria, Hungary, Bohemia and Switzerland.
- Military doctrine: The NUP supports a policy of military inventiveness over the traditions of the old infantry-based warfare. The Weltkrieg caused the loss of too many Germans in their prime, and even the effective Stormtrooper tactics did not cause an abatement of the tide of death. The enemies of Germany, such as the syndicalists, have more men than Germany, and a policy of attritional warfare as practiced in the Weltkrieg will not succeed in a future conflict.
- Mitteleuropean Policy: Our policy for Mitteleuropa is based upon whatever will greatest support the creation of a Greater Germany, and given the variable state of world affairs we cannot commit to either an expansionist or isolationist policy at this time.
- German territorial claims: The NUP would strive to incorporate all areas of majority German settlement into Greater Germany to ensure both their protection and prosperity. These areas are rightfully German, and as such the only controversy from them is a false one created by Germany's enemies.
- Relations with the Syndicalists: We do not explicitly condemn the syndicalists, but do eye them with suspicion, particularly the Commune (of France) with its claims to Alsace-Lorraine. We wish for peace, but wish Germany to be fully prepared for war if the syndicalists or other potential enemies do not respect our rightful claims to Greater Germany.
- Pacifism/Realpolitik/Jingoism/Reactionism: Again, our reaction is to be tailored to the events of the world. While we do not seek open conflict, Germany must be prepared to wage war if necessary to ensure the establishment of a Greater Germany, and we are willing to work with any German party whose goals correspond with our own.0[/COLOR]
Additional note: As per kovan09's statement, we suggest that all those considering voting for the National Unity Party (NUP) consider casting their second vote for the Prussian Conservative Party (PCP) as their goals are similar to ours.
Remember: A united Germany is a strong Germany!
