Wait, so I am a kung-fu master in a rockband! :D

This AAR is getting better by the minute :p

It will be interesting to see how the police officers will react to the bleeding knight in the kitchen

No. Donny "Snugglie" Snugle is a kung-fu master in a rockband.

You, sir, are a "little bitch."

With a bleeding knight in your kitchen, and cops at the door.

:D

However I am not the one who got my ass kicked by a "little bitch", flees into the street and gets escorted home, sandwiched between two police officers only to find a bleeding knight in the kitchen :p

:D Great twist. This is way better than actually being a trained assassin for real! Although, drummer? :p It will sure be interesting to see where this goes.

For the record, my character's bloody awesome.

I suppose that's better than just being bloody, as Juvenal is for the moment. :p

This is a truly amazing story.
You probably need to put a health warning somewhere that reading to much of this in one go may cause the brain to implode from overuse of the part that deals with plot twists.
I think it's in the front left temple, that's the bit that hurts anyway.
:D

Greetings all!

As most of you have probably already guessed, I'm going to put this one on hold for a little while. My deployment is starting to pick up pace, and I don't have the time or energy to give as much to the story as I really want to. That said, I WILL pick it back up...though it'll probably be a few months before I do. I really appreciate the fact that you guys have stuck with it this far, and I promise I'll be back!

In the meantime, I'm playing with the idea of a Vicky AAR. I'm trying to find a simple format that would still be engaging...maybe posting in the form of letters, or newspaper clippings. We'll see. I'll let ya'll know if and when I start it up.

Thanks again for everyone's support!

A pity, but at the same time good. I'll be very busy this fall, so this means that I won't lag behind! :D That said, I look forward to its restart. Godspeed.

:( I am sad. Though the prospect of another AAR from you eases it a bit. I usually don't frequent the vicky forums, but for you I will make an exception ;)

Bump and you shall receive! :D

I'm home from Iraq, and returning to this AAR! Just going to re-read it to refresh my memory, then the adventures of Matilda, Juvenal, Annelies, Snugglie, and Slinky shall continue!

:D

Excellent news. I had seen some other small projects of yours so I feared for this AAR. It's good to see it's not forgotten.

Wot, it's on its way back? Hooray!

Wot, it's on its way back? Hooray!

Don't hooray yet, we still have to explain to the cops about the death knight in the kitchen :p

Greetings again to all my long-lost readers! I only hope I can somehow manage to live up to your excitement. :D

I should mention here, that while I still have all the notes I made for chapter two, they are in California while I am currently in Pittsburgh. I am torn on whether to reload the game at the end of chapter one and see what I can do, or wait until I have my notebook and write the chapter two that I already had planned. Who knows...we shall see!

But in the meantime, we still have a dead knight AND two policemen in Slinky and Snugglie's house...so we should probably resolve that. :D

For those just joining us...welcome! For "our story so far", I wrote a little piece HERE explaining what happened. However, if you have the time, I'd definitely recommend trying to make it through all 27 pages instead...I just did so, and it took me a little over an hour. I write episodically, playing fast and loose with cliffhangers...and I imagine the story is probably less enjoyable if you simply read the recap that explains everything without mystery.

I say wait 'til you've got your old notes, at least so that you can see what's worth keeping and what might be changed. Don't rush it.

...but do rush it a bit, just for us. :D
