As Com CHi, Chairman Mao have conquered all of independant Middle East countries and is now posed to breakout into conquest of Axis controlled Europe. It will be flesh against steel as Mao has no armor. Have ~150 divisions for the strike, majority Infantry'41.
Can anybody who have taken on the Axis with no/limited armor share experience?
It's March'42 and Italy, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Vichy are German allies.
I'm counting on that the Wehrmacht forces to be busy with Soviets which they have pushed far beyond Moscow/Stalingrad to stike from their rear. From starting point at Istanbul following the red arrows are the main thrust of my "Long March" army formations, I'll annex Bulgaria, than Romania, followed by Hungary before attacking towards Berlin. The orange arrows are secondary thrust to secure flanks and will stop at the yellow defensive lines.
Another Caucausian campaign from north-east of Turkey will attempt to seize oil and IC rich provinces from German held Soviet teritory once German completed the conquest of that area. Downsized-Turkey is my puppet, spared from complete annexation to get hold of their blueprints.
I wonder how much can be achieved before winter of '42. Note that Soviets are not my ally (intend to keep it that way because I want to keep their provinces as well) and Korea+Turkey are my puppets and Japan has been annexed before US could join Allies. Playing on DDv1.3a with DAIM on Hard/Aggresive level. Any advice welcome.
