Yes... playing as Ayutthaya I was seriously hampered by not being able to get out of my home port due to super-tech pirates. :mad: :) An occupational hazard of playing in some areas.

Maybe as a minimum, but Pirates start out at naval tech level 19.

Really doesn't matter, pirates aren't much of an issue then anyway...
