Zoroastrian Great Holy Wars

Has anyone else had the problem of the great holy wars not firing as a Zoroastrian? I'm on a play through where I've restored the priesthood, became Saoshyant and everything and I haven't had a great holy war called but once in over 150 years. I've since become Greek and the Byzantine Emperor and forfeit the Persian Empire title in the meantime, but I'm still Zoroastrian so I'm not sure if that would matter. The high priest also is landed with his own vahram.

Did Crusade/Jihad era began?

Yeah, there's been crusades for Andalusia already, and I've had one great holy war called for the Zoroastrians, but since then nothing. The last one called was in 950 and it's now 1100 and there hasn't been one since.
