Looked at video... you are free to move camera as you want, but it seems it is "grounded" to those 20ft height... it might be great you could place camera near the ground at cars height, so you could visit your town as if you were really walking there...

One of the things I love from "other games" is the "person like" view while having a virtual walk in my city..

Agreed. I too would like to get down to street level, so you can look your citizens in the face, like in CitiesXL, but I can kind of understand why they don't do that: They don't want to waist resources animating unique facial features when they could be spending that time developing city related stuff. The 5 meters above the ground thing is not *exactly* as I would've wanted it, but its close enough for me.

Perhaps they'll change it in an expansion pack later? Who knows.

The people in CXL were so creepy and odd, the game had realistic buildings then you had these big headed cartoony citizens...completely messes up the illusion of reality :p

I'd like to see a first person view option as well. It would also be nice to be able to control the camera i.e.: "walk" the person or "drive" the vehicle. I saw this done on a Unity project a while back using the "soldier" character. You could switch between first person, third person (over the shoulder), or above the player views.
