Zombies is all i got to ask, I know a lot of people don't like when there cities that they work hard on get destroyed but i think cities skylines is perfect for a zombie expansion and it should also be optional to turn off!

  • You get to start the infection or the infection starts randomly with or without notification (Optional) so it would happen underneath your nose for a challenge to stop it if you can! hahah ;)
  • Power outages along with abandon builds and cars and damaged roads and if you reclaim your city road workers could fix roads once the outbreak is over. (It would work like snow cleaners as they drive the road fixes up)
  • Maybe some regular flus for something more realistic for people who enjoy small realistic addons?

Im not really sure what else but i did see they really want zombies for this game in some articles i saw which are old but i just like the idea of a real zombie simulation in city i built and can maintain it or let it spread :)
I Hope people like the idea :p

Wooo - cool thing about zombies would be that they are not city-destroying ;) Mmmmm actually a good pre-zombie thing that would fit the skylines theme could be teaming up Plague-Inc and doing something like that - disease vectors, effects, and controls. It would finally give those hospitals something to do, you would have to think about quarantine, balance out wanting one giant-city and wanting to be able to control disease-spread when a 'bad' tourist visits (eg. the cyclical global city-panics over sars, ebola, etc), policies on that, safety of drinking water (eg. the current un-drinkable water in parts of the US)..

And you could include 'drugs' - and if you choose to legalize more than just green then you may also get a proliferation of PCP and other things that cause some affected people to be more violent. You could also add in person-on-person crime, with actual attacks that the police have to stop quickly (instead of just parking your police station out-of-the-way in the boonies cause 'it will get there eventually'.

And if some modder then decided to make some sick-people 'green' and attack people then well.... ;)

Zombies! I hear ya. When my cities were hit by deathwaves, I wished they would've triggered a zombie outbreak - would've been hilarious!

Most fun I had in Simcity 2013 was with the Nuclear Reactor bug, where they would hire uneducated sims despite having plenty of educated sims in the city. Of course it went into meltdown, burning 2/3 of my city. I had a lot of fun trying to recover. Tried rebuilding over the radiation but it seems that was the wrong approach. Mayor approval rating went down slightly... Sadly back then the game also had no way to remove radiation. *sigh*

This forum's for suggestions and feature requests. Responding to a suggestion you don't care for with "move along" or "try a different game" is unnecessary and rude. Perhaps next time you suggest future content/features, someone will come along and tell you to try a different game; it doesn't fit his/her idea of what the game is.

the "move along" is part of the original (in this case modified) star wars quote.
there's nothing rude about it.
neither is it unneccessary to express your disagreement with an idea that you don't want the devs' time being wasted on because that means that devs will not be able to spend that time on things you deem more important.
and "try a different" game isn't rude either, it's actually pretty polite.

No one said it was unnecessary to voice your disagreement.

The unnecessary part is when you tell someone you disagree with to "move along." Quote or no, those were the words; since you brought it up, the original context of the expression is that it's used to drive away weak-minded people one considers bothersome. There's just nothing polite about it - taken literally or in-movie-context - and I don't feel like pretending otherwise just to get along.

Apology takes 2 words, and twisting things around to act like it never happened takes a lot more. That people often choose the latter is quite puzzling. It makes for interesting discussion though.

I might appreciate zombies as a Halloween Gag Disaster but as an actual part of the core game it is woefully out of place. I suggest you find some other program to run a zombie outbreak simulation. Best of luck to you
