Well, I'm here to ask if anyone has good ideas (or if it is even possible) to make a zombie mod for HOI2:Doomsday.
I was thinking (I am undereducated in this...) if it was possible to change partisans, to enable 'zombie' partisans to appear under certain circumstances. The 'zombie' partisans could have no morale lossage (?) and added penalties to the opposing force. I was thinking if the partisans take a nearby province, the events for 'zombies' begin to take place.
If any of this is impossible, or extremely extremely difficult, just tell me.

Have you tried the FODD (Fallout) mod, by any chance? That's set in 2243 IIRC. If not check out www.terranova.dk (apart from Fallout also the home of CORE, VIP, Magna Mundi, SPQR and DVIP).
There's no problem in trying to mod it yourself, but be aware of the time that goes into that. I know out of experience. ;)

You might be interested to know that I am partway through adding a mid game event for Fallout mod which spawns a nation: Zombie Apocalypse!

It's a sci fi mod. The mod is set in a post Apocalyptic future, after the world went through a nuclear war. It is set in North America which is still a radioactive hell called the Wastelands. New powers are rising to try and restore some kind of civilisation after 167 years of the post Apocalyptic dark age.

- Completely new units, new techs, new economic model, new resources, all new interface and graphics (barely anything left from original game).

- 35 unique nations with their own background story, events and gameplay challenges. Many have custom unit names and graphics on top of what is already standard in the mod for other nations.

- Now there are 6 races, each with some different tech branches and units and brigades. One race, the Robots led by a powerful mainframe AI which is sentient, has a completely separate tech tree and unit chain.

We're working on Beta-03 but the latest files are completely workable and play balanced right now as is. We've been playing some very fun multiplayer games most Sundays. The last game just reached a conclusion and we're all going to start fresh game on the weekend.

Anyway that's enough from me. Of course, there are some awesome straight, non science fiction mods for HOI2: like CORE, TRP, etc. Like Hagar said, there are a lot of mods on the Terranova forum our mod is hosted on. Feel free to check it out.
