It seems to me that the Yugoslavia focus tree (as Germany) is a complete waste of time except for that one province you may get. At some point the UK declares war on Yugoslavia (why?). It then joins the axis without the option for refusal, and the focus line deactivates. As an ally it is useless in the current game and, in any case, then has a civil war which distracts you from the main game of beating the French. As a puppet (one half anyway)/occupied territory it has some use. I always take out Hungary (I like puppets, they make me feel good and I like to mess with theory templates). So declare war on Yugo straight after, before the UK?
Also, does Paradox offer any HoI addiction counselling services? I feel as if the company should. I startled a friend the other day by complaining that, as Germany, I couldn't puppet Romania. I feel the game is taking me over. A social life is unnecessary; friends are unnecessary. Work? Maybe another play through would make me feel better. Yes, that's it, another play through.
