What I'm looking for is advanced level gameplay, but straight-up, no exploits, no nonsense - just someone who really knows how to play the game without breaking it. DDRJake &c are quite entertaining, but that's just not how I want to play.
What might also be nice is someone who knows how to edit - I don't really want to sit through 20+ hours, if it can be avoided.

You can try - Chimpeh, Velix or HalbyStarcraft. Haven't seem them use any exploits and they are pretty knowledgeable. I still think DDRJake is the best out there, even if he uses exploits, some of them he uses them once just to show off, others more often, but then again, for his goals and what he's trying to achieve, I think its acceptable. I mean, let's face it, you try to create a Sunni pope and eradicate all Christianity and honestly I won't but your balls about using some exploits. And I've learned a lot of legit stuff from his gameplay

Someone who uses a ton of exploits knows more stuff about "legitimate" plays than the vast majority of players out there.
You've added a restriction that doesn't help you learn the game.

All the videos I've seen are unedited, so not much luck there.

Each to their own - I'm not judging, just saying it doesn't help me much. Thanks for the suggestions though.

I'm sure Jake knows far more than I ever will, but I'm just not interested in the gamey stuff - that's my choice. I'd love to see him produce something where he just plays it straight - starting with a OPM - I'm sure I'd learn loads.

I've been enjoying Arumba's videos recently, seems fairly straight up gameplay - although I've not watched any others so far so can't comment on a comparison!

Before anybody can answer your question, it's best to be clear on what constitutes an exploit vs not to you, because it is a non-obviously grey scale line. One could go as far as to consider allying a major and using it to expand exploitative, others wouldn't put anything the game allows under that umbrella unless it gives infinite resources.

Then you have more tame things like "use overseas coring discount" via vassal block, which is a perfect application of the game rules straight up but still not to some people's tastes.

Arumba uses alot of exploits and he acts like he cares about people that dont like it but he doesnt. So i wouldnt recommend him.

I have heard Shenryyr mention that he doesnt like some exploits but he does use them every now and then when he fked up royally. Like really early in his Tunis campaign when he vassalized Genoa without CB. (coalition galore)

Well thats only people who i couldnt recommend... but i hope that helps too.

PS: Finally someone who wants to play the game like it is meant to be played. :)

Shenryr is decent at the game and avoids exploits most of the time, but he some times makes statements about rules w/o double checking. DDRJake has some campaigns when he avoids exploits, at least to a point, and as suggested above, despite using exploits can teach you way more than most. I'd suggest his previous run, great example of vassal heavy play in India. Granted halfway through he starts using exploits, but opening is quite interesting on it's own.
PS: Finally someone who wants to play the game like it is meant to be played. :)
Yeah.. you do know that PDX have a policy allowing to use major exploits in multi player, albeit only once per exploit.

This will be the harder point to find. I don't really know anybody who will mass edit an EUIV LP as that means that people don't see most of the gameplay (which most people want to see).

I did just cut recording slow parts in my Mongolia game. It's harder to do that with stream format though.

The exploits I've seen are in DDRJake's Ryukyu campaign - starting the game with a 3* leader by repeating missions to boost tradition. This kind of thing is basically cheating as far as I'm concerned. Not sure what you mean by ' "use overseas coring discount" via vassal block' - sounds like it's probably complicated but 'as intended'. To be honest, I think we all know what's exploitative, but we might disagree over what's acceptable.

Ryukyu is always my main circus exhibition of exploits. If you want some straight-up weak starts play without exploitation (at least until I'm fairly powerful) then I would recommend Nagaur, Mogadishu, Mongolia or Navarra.

In the end though, I enjoy finding and displaying exploits in this game. For my exploits magnum opus, I recommend Minghals
