Laying The Groundwork - Cities Skylines Let's Play

Hello,

I am making this post to share my Let's Play of the game with you guys. :) I am a big fan of city builders and simulations, and am already having a ton of fun playing the heck out of Cities Skylines!
I hope to create a thriving metropolis eventually, hopefully without driving my city into the ground first. Haha
A new video will come out every day in the evening US time. Perhaps more than one, depending on how much time I have and how well the series gets recieved.

I plan to be spending a ton of time on the forum and sub reddit interacting with everyone and becoming part of an amazing looking community. :D

I'll just be updating this thread when a new episode comes out, rather than creating a new thread each time, as I don't want to spam.

I really do hope you will join me on my adventure to becoming a crazy and fantastic mayor of a new town!

Are you going to explain game mechanics? I never been good at this genre, but I want to learn a bit about Cities before I play it.

I apologize for such a delay between EP2 and this one, but I was having major problems getting it to publish on YouTube. Took me 7 tries of re-uploading it to finally make it work. :(

Anyway, we continue expanding both residential and industrial zones as well as unlocking the Advanced Wind Turbine, which really helps with the power!
Hope you all enjoy, and EP4 coming tonight (considering YT isn't dumb again). :)

Sorry for the late reply, been really busy, and having an issue where the forum won't really work on my main PC. :(
To answer your question though, yeah I can cover them a bit more in detail as we go on. I think I do cover a bit of the game mechanics just as I play, so hopefully that helps. But if you have further questions about specific things throughout the series, please feel free to ask either in the comments on the video or on here, and I'll my best to answer them! :)

It seems there are a few traffic problems near the entrance of the city, mostly due to the massive amounts of traffic generated by Industry. So it is time to build a secondary Highway access from the city to hopefully fix the problem... :)

I would love any feedback you can offer, both on the videos and game tips.
