So I'm playing a Brandenburg to Prussia and in early 1600s things start going off rail. Ottomans bordered Austria, and Austria tends to call me in war against France very often. However in the early 1600s Protestant don't declare war on the Empire and as result I loose my elector-ship and Austria decides to break their alliance with me turning friendly to rival and shortly the royal marriage ends. Seeing the sudden shift attitude France decides to end their Rivalry with me sends a royal marriage request than alliance with no inputs from me.

Outside of my immediate area Aragon is dominating Castile, despite Ottoman controlling vast majority of Hungary Byzantium exists and control its core aside for Constantinople. Kiev exist but doesn't control Kiev. Speaking of Ottomans they after experience a massive break down they became Rev. Ottoman (Granted that mostly my fault by allying and feeding Byzantium when I went for Hungary and I destroyed Ottoman's Prestige, and Manpower).

My first Byzantium game back in 1.4

I inherited Aragon thus denying Castile its PU.

France failed to expand outside itself (with one exception see below*).
Bohemia was the emperor and despite sending them replies of FU each time they requested unlawful imperial territory, we were kissy kissy allies.

Castile having turn quite butthurt I snatched Aragon, Inherited Wales(it had seceded from the English somehow), Ireland, Brittany (and its colonies**keep that in mind) and Portugal (and its colonies). Now the English chanel was a mess you say? Remember that *? Yeah well, the french decided they wanted a share and took of western England (essentially wales). So the British Islands had: Scotch, Irish, Castilian, English and French all in total war to each other fun times. Eventually The Scots beat everyone else except the French out. I found an OPM English colony in South America after I noticed in the ledger that England was kicking still.

Now after this its getting richer. I was colonizing (both with colonists and conquest) Africa, so at one point Castile and I came to blows. I take their colonies in west Africa and I find some Briton** cores there. Well I wanted a vassal so I release them. Turns out it was the wisest decision I took in that game. After I vassal fed it and reabsorbed it a bunch of years later, I am at the loading screen and wanted to check the map and see what is going on the RtoW and I see this:

I own Brittany's original lands in France...ok. I own several ex-Castilan colonies in south America (essentially modern day Columbia), a bunch of islands in the Indian ocean, several territories in the Philippines and east Australia.

Way to go rebels?
