to create your own shields you need an image editor like photoshop or gimp. photoshop can be expensive; gimp can be downloaded for free at www.gimp.org (there is a windows version, too.) once you do that, you can download the shield templates from mad king james' site: http://jgdahl.tripod.com/Flags/flags.html there are tutorials for his templates in the 'flags, shields, and other graphics' forum. as far as i know, you can use either to make shields, but i think you need photoshop to make your own flags. if that doesn't work for you, you could always post a link in the 'grand request' thread for someone to make them for you.
