your greatest conquest

post here your greatest conquest while playing any of the campaigns. no criteria for what a great conquest is. just post a description of what you think was your greatest or most successfull game given the odds you were facing. include screen shots if possible.

mine was with france. i conquered all of the HRE, italy, austria, parts of poland, parts of turkey and hungary, morrocco, algiers, tunisia, all of indochina, all of eastern N.America, and almost the entire west side of the continent of africa. i didnt ever think i would be posting it on a board so i didnt take a screen shot(plus i dont know how). BTW, how do you take screen shots?

haha ok. thanks pat. a lot of games have a specific screen shot button though and the screen gets saved into the game dir. usually the keys F4, F7, etc. anyway just wanted to know. now c'mon someone post a great conquest.

well, i have a great conquest.

one time i conquered the aztecs... this was pretty hard to acheive since i was bavaria . i had gotten a few ports, and an explorer, so i went off, found em, and massacered the bastards spain must have been pretty pist, she had just declared war on them

My Greatest Conquest

I have conquered the entire world as both Spain (in GC) and Sweden (in IGC). I am currently finishing up an AAR on the AAR board as Spain where my goal is to conquer the world. I am almost through. When I finish, I am gonna do a Sweden one on the AAR board.

I my current game as Brandenburg I annexed

All German States, Austria, Hungary, Bohemia and P-L before 1600

I think my next goal will be full annex of Russia, while I net a couple of French, Spanish and Turkish provinces

Playing as Russia, I've managed to conquer Ingermanland, Kazan, Golden Horde, Astrakhan, Sibir and Persia in 1509.

As Hansa the strategy is simple.
1) Use your good relations to trade maps with Muslims and then with Spain, Eng, Par. That way you get to know Azteck land.
2)Vassilise your allies.
3)wait for your one and only leader in 1530, load him onto a suasside fleet and send to Aztecks. You will lose the fleet but at the very least establish a land hold to later conquer Aztecks.
4)Diplo-annex your Catholic allies with Azteck gold.
5)once done with all prospective Cathlics become a leader of a Protestant alliance.
This is the tricky part judging when to convert, so that you become the leader of the alliance.
Ususally you can only get Pommeneria by 1530. SO just convert before your neigbors, and let them fall into your alliance. Prossed with this until uniting Germany.
6) Just remember when colonising don't use the strategy of big guys and grab land every where. colonise in blocks easy to defend. Because you are militaraly always weak, due to your incompetant leaders. It takes twice as many of your solgiers to defeat your enemy.

Europe from Russian/Turkish border westward (including most of the British Isles and all of Scandinavia)

All of North America and South America except the provinces around the Isthmus of Panama and Cape Horn

All of Persia, Iraq, and India and southeast asia (except my faithful allies the Mughals) as well as scattered provinces in the East Indies and Africa.
