What if Dollfuß didn't get assassinated at all. I mean he was a "friend" of Mussolini, wouldn't that be an option?
No because Dollfuß was against the monarchy. But Otto von Habsburg wanted to recreate the Habsburg Empire. He tried to become the king of hungary but failed two times. If he would have succeeded maybe then he would have a chance of recreating it. I don't know which country would have supported him unfortunately Maybe Japan.
