Well isnt there a event that makes the bastard legimate heir to the crown if you give him a tittle or advisor slot. Something about elevating himself to legimate heir with his new found power. It happened once to me and quite frankly was happy that it did as the former legimate heir was and idiot with big I.

I got that one yesterday. I gave a title to one of my many (I got 4 too) bastards and got this event a little after. And he became my sucessor, which I dint wanted.

Back on topic, it is odd that the DB should praise you for treating your bastard children well after you knocked off your legit ones. Maybe the event should be fixed not to fire while you have the schizophenia or kinslayer traits.
