After reading the 'move capital' thread I wondered - since we don't know the exact layout of the provinces and such its pretty open ended question - What province do you fancy to be the capital of your feudal empire?

I kinda have my eye on Rome but I doubt pope will like that ;)

I sure hope we can move our capital around. I think sergei said we could.

Maybe a catalonian coastal empire based in barcelona?

I think I'll set up my capitol in Camelot. Then I'll try to find knights willing to join the Round Table. Of course I'll have to fight the Black Knight.... and outwit the Ni Knights.... And the Beast...:(

Okay then, I'll pick Toulouse instead... Much easier

I would support the notion that cities can pop up. Not however that one could build them. I doubt the kings had that kind of resources back in those days. But as I said I would love for new communities to pop up along trade routes and resource deposits.

Well there is always civ3!;)

I suppose you have a point though. It isn't historical at all for me to start naming cities after myself. and what I hate..absolutely 100% hate that totally turns me off to Civ. You try to build a nation. A nice little empire somewhere. You leave one TINY little space open between your cities and BOOM up pops an enemy city to disrupt your beautiful solid block of color on the map and impede your army movements.

I love how you build a fort around one of your cities and put soldiers there to guard a road then they build a city right next door and say I DEMAND YOU WITHDRAW YOUR TROOPS FROM MY TERRITORY.

Orange - Rebuild the coliseum. Then I would start up my time machine and grab a fellow countryman and a Canadian, and tell the Canadian that the US guy thinks they should join the US. I would then sit back and watch a nice fight to the death(second ,match, another US guy and an European guy with "We won WWII without your help" as the bait for the European guy). :)

Oh and rebuild the theatre too.
