OK, I was messing around trying to create a Russian-Soviet civil war. I tried triggering a civil war in SOV with an event using command = { type = civil_war which = RUS } but it resulted in "Russia" taking over, well, all of Russia and none of Siberia when I'd really rather have a big mess with territories switched around all over the place. I tried editing revolt.txt, but putting territories in the 'extra' category makes them all stay Soviet and I'd rather have a mix, more like a civil war in EU. Is there any way to do that without picking all of the territories to switch?

Failing that, does anyone have a scenario like this? It's obviously not historical, but I think it would be fun to mess around with.

I'm afraid you'll simply have to reduce the number of Russian provinces in the revolt.txt file.

There isn't a simple way to have Russia instead of the SU, there's a bunch of stuff you need to edit to get Russia working properly in the SU's place (leaders, events, probably other stuff I'm forgetting about).

Not really. SU has all the leaders it needs for a non communist government in its file.

Not to mention theres a whole ministers file for Russia itself.

There's a ministers file for Russia, but there are NO military leaders for the country whatsoever which rather hampers their ability to actually do anything. And no one asked about making the soviets non-communist, so their ministers are irrelevant. Plus even if they're couped, their name and flag don't change.

If it's really so easy, then just tell Erebos how to do it.
