The only entry to the genre belongs to EA. No matter you want something more realistic than what is on offer, less realistic, more complicated, more simplistic, more mature, or more child friendly... There's only one game and it belongs to EA. There's no choice. If you're disappointed with it, but liked the potential of what it could be, you can... Sit there and hope that the next number in the series is better, I guess?
I remember when city simulation was just like that. When there was Simcity and void. Well now there is The Sims and void. You did a great job with Cities Skylines. I would just love if even a small team, somewhere in the courner of your studio stood up to tackle this challenge. And I don't care if your version of life simulation would focus heavily on how traffic impacts your life, or adds natural disasters, diseases and other unpleasant stuff, or if you go for something very simplistic and abstract... I would just like to see someone try something. I would just like to see another company try. So please, at least consider it, one day, perhaps?
