101% bug. How was your AT before the battle? What about your AT gain increase from battles?

My army tradition was either 100 or something close to it. So I didn't really gain anything.
Are you playing on very hard?
Years ago there was a bug in which the army tradition calculations get thrown completely out of the window if there are either your army is too large or the armies of the world in general. I forget which.
I guess it has not been fixed yet...

I don't know but there is no way that you gaining 30 AT is intended. It could be a display bug or a bug with the formula used to calculate AT.

From 1.28, VH, my total army about 40k, AT I don't remember.

Quite a few times I've seen either an AI nation or rebels get something between 5-15 AT after a battle but I never noticed this happening to me.
The AI gets an army tradition bonus from battles for being an AI. Seems really unfair with the broad army tradition nerf we got though.
Agreed. It is routine to see nations that fight a lot with quite a few 3 stars generals. Of course, the AI getting leaders for free helps as well.
