And to add on that, you know you have played too much CK2 when you start thinking in terms of traits when people complete an action. For example: Mother said the holidays would be a fun time for the whole family. Mother gains the trait deceitful.
haha we were talking about the game too which brought up the subject of fathering bastards but yeah definitely think of traits and opinion modifiers whenever I'm out in public lol

But seriously, does anyone have a reliable system for assigning their children guardians. I want my daughter to become "midas-touched." She is my sole heir, so I don't mind if she becomes ambitious, but I would discourage her from flipping cultures.

When you actually try to gain traits in real life. I currently have hedonist and slothful to name a few, hoping i get an event losing slothful and gaining ambitious.
When you see a map and inform your friends that you once conquered great territories on that given map.
I actually do this quite a lot, in some way. I'll ask my friends what they've been up to lately, but as the sub-human degenerates they are, they merely manage to do such things as "hanging out" or "studying", whilst I prefer doing important, noble tasks such as conquering Jerusalem in the name of God. You know that you've been playing to mutch, when you are dreaming about CK2 and the next day. You do exaktly what you dreamt last night and it works! (Based on a true story)
Definitely done that. Every day in my government class instead of paying attention (the teacher just plays movies.... public education FTW) I draw the CK map and shade it in with all the territories I've conquered in the last day. Then hand them to my polite friend who gives less than half of a frank about video games, but keeps all of my drawings
