I know now why it´s green because that´s the tranperency and it looks really odd when it´s put on top of the terrain bmps

But when all the terrains done i think it would look really nice
Don't use first entry in palette ("full" green RGB 0-255-0) as color for grass. Just change first entry (with not used color, yellow?), modify an entry in the palette with RGB 0-254-0, recolor yellow pixels with this "new" green and finally revert first entry to "full" green. I think transparency will be avoided, then.

Thanks. Japanese, Scandinavian and now Chinese sets in mind...

Waiting for a full city terrains set by cool-toxic too... ;)

Scandinavian set is not really needed, the European set fits Scandinavia quite perfectly, at least most of it.

i´m saying that it looks odd when it´s on top of mountains and other terrains:wacko:
but when i´m done with the other city terrains idon´t think we need the coast to be change then it would just be transparency and we could see the new terrains under

Is "this" for cities sets?
If yes, I'm afraid cities sets must go into EUII folder, not moddir (won't work at all). But since files don't exist in vanilla and nobody else than me made cities sets  , there is no possible damage in vanilla...

We just have to modify AGCEEP country.csv and copy needed cities files where they belong. How could I be against this idea?

I support that idea, and I like your last Chinese set. Are you going to make them also for Western European countries?

No, he is going to make Southeast Asian sets. :p

oooooooooohh now theres an idea. Cities that like like Angor Watt (sp?), thats not a bad idea at all.

Ayeshteni

Angkor Vat is a good idea...
To Phillip V, is it realistic for whole Indochinese peninsula (countries using CHI in citynationality actually excluding Chinese states and Tibet)?

As much as I would love for Angkor Wat and those temples to be implemented, being strictly historical, they would not be a good general base to create city graphics for the region, though one could exaggerate that the Thais, Burmans, Khmer, Cham, Laotians, and perhaps even the Indonesians shared similar architecture. However, that stone-building period had eclipsed by the EU2 time period.
I believe more modern wats (temples) would be a more realistic example for the region. Here is a site that shows some: http://www.arrakeen.ch/asia2004/cambodia2004.html
Also, type in "wat" for a Google image search.

I was not sure but you're right: Angkor Wat is before EUII period...

Thanks for the link. I see the typical architectural design to follow.

SE Asian Set added to the ToDo list. :)

Is it possible to make a medieval European city set? if you leave the fortess walls how they are but pain the roofs not in red but in this blue-greyish that is mostly on castle roofs and walls in grey (stone).

That would be awesome.

Wow! Who's the creepy looking white guy Jayavarman :D

Anyway YodaMaster said to make suggestions here so umm.... here's some pictures for West African cities!

Google 'Djinguereber Mosque', Timbuktu, Gao Mali, and Jenne Mali, this should give you a good idea of the mud mosques, palaces and buildings looked like :)

We all know why creepy white guys go to Southeast Asia these days. :(

Especially, if you look through the rest of the site, he only likes to take pictures of young adolescent Asian girls (in his hotel room). :(
