In fact, two questions, but...

1)Is there going to be an event in which some Caucasus (Georgia, Armenia...) will become National Provinces for Russia ? (All the trouble in stability I went for annexing Golden Horde without casus bellis...) If yes, when ?

2)I think there is at one point one catastrophic crisis for China. When this happens ? As Russia, exploiting this event would be very, very, very tempting...

But by the time you reach the Pacific, you should be comfortably ahead in tech. The problem is that you may never be able to spare enough manpower in that area, without leaving the heartland dangerously bare. Modest gains against China should be enough. Besides, won't you be busy discovering Alaska and colonizing California?
