Please note - natt och dag chose Muscowy. I recall he used Muscowy on his first turn - therefore he MUST choose Denmark on his next turn.

I will choose Sweden this turn. :) I am currently at war with Denmark, during the beginning of my turn. Wish me luck.

I played as Sweden, as said.

My bboy began at 6, and ended at 11 (from provinces gained). I warred with Denmark, and received a few provinces in peace. Please note I was happy as Denmark's loyal vassal, and would look forward to renewed peaceful relations in the Baltic. I merely finished up the war with Denmark on favourable terms to the Crown.

My inflation for Sweden is at 7.5%. (2.7% to begin the turn).

Poland is up. I should note I am allied with Poland/Lithuania/Brandenburg now. Poland, please only use me in the alliance if Sweden can profit from it, or if Sweden has interests in the area. I joined the alliance to help Lithuania/Poland against her enemies at the time (Muscowy), and thus I would appreciate if such kindness was well repaid. :)

France is also warring with the Ottomans, which is sad. Not sure why my Ai decided to DoW France.

Well I really don't want to go Portestant and hope that the AI does not mess me up too much. Besides a trade of the Dutch Netherlands for prime colonizing area is still not a good deal for me. I will pull in more money from the lenepe then from the Dutch who will if nothing else increase my BB rating. Also the reason I walked over France in the first round is I figured if they retained the upper hand they would be the one demanding the peace deal. Which in the end was the case anyways, *mutters about the dumb AI*.. Yes I do now where the event files are, I may be stupid but I am not a complete idiot.:D Well actually pretty close to it.:(

Poland 1475-79

just finished my turn...

Having declared that France has no need to expand into across the rhine....Poland figured that it better ensure that Austria wont unite Germany either....so in attemp to boost my faltering ally Brandenburgs war against Bohemia Poland DoWed Bavaria ensuring that Brandenburg got access through Saxony (part of the Austrian alliance with Bavaria) to the Bohemian capital....which would later be something which the Bohemians unfortunately could also use to get to Berlin....

After a bit of fighting the Austrians were convinced that Poland meant business when they said that they dont want the Austrian tentacles entangling the whole of Germany....and they offered a truce giving Flanders and Moravia to Poland...Poland seeing no reason to anger the Habsburgs by inflicting a crushing deafeat upon the Austrians accepted this token of goodwill....and turned their attention towards Prussia and the Teutonic Order who had attacked earlier...Prussia later had to give up Danzig and Memel to Poland while The Order got off with a WP....meanwhile the Branburgians (or whatever u would call them?) were in dire trouble vs the Bohemians...Poland being the stought ally it was so no other possible course than to join the war...unfortunately the king, people, press, mobsters and hoodlums saw no legal right to get intangled in "the german mess" but combining a bit of subterfuge and an amount of borrowed funds I was cleverly able to marry of a daughter to the duke of Luxemburg, shortly afterwards using this as a legal claime to claim his throne upon his death...naturally this caused some tension which just one month later escalated into an outright DoW vs Luxemburg and Luxemburgs noble ally Bohemia....this international incidence was never intended and it should be known that it was purely the professional and quite "shocking" attitude of the very noble Polish cavalry which caused our forces to rapidly fall upon Bohemia....this incidence was in no way fabricated...we the polish are after all a most peace loving people! (and I will release flanders as a vassal at the first possible moment! - when does flanders become a revolter ?? apparantly it isnt yet since I couldnt release it as a vassal...)

Poland has no design upon Germany...we just wish to ensure the right self government of the free electorates of Germany!

Live long and Prosper! :D

I couldn't do so either when I tried to.

And "right" government meaning what ? :D

Does Poland actually have german culture or not?

Ok guys, we need some sort of system to skip unplayed turns if this game is to continue :)

England/Portugal, you still there? That is Prince BUB I believe...

I believe Austria/Castille is next. Perhaps they can just let the ai play those 5 years, and then after that play their turn. Good? Or is this game dead?

Sure I can... I hoped that I wouldn't have to do that though....
Does anybody know if Prince BUB is still around somewhere ?

Once the rest of you tell me to go on (let the Portugal/England turn be run by the ai/or simply skip and do my turn first) I'll do that...

Though as for skipping or letting the ai run the turn: Remember that after my turn it's Portugal/england again (doubleturn....); and then mine again...

got this PM from Prince BUB

PBEM Game
Boehm, you are going to have to skip over my turn. I cannot upload and e-mail my saved game out, I have been trying since saturday but it keeps giving me error messages. For now I am going to have to drop out of the game until I can get it fixed, sorry about this.
------------------
I got this PM some time ago but forgot about it  ....soo I guess we should just continue for now and try to find a replacement

Hmm continuing on would mean: I skip 5 years, I play a turn, I skip 5 more years, I play another turn....
(doubleturns...)

I'd really prefer BUB doing his turn; or that we find somebody as replacement.

But if you wish me to do just what I stated above, then I can.

well I agree that its not optimal to just skip his turn.....but on the other hand I think we need to get this moving again so we dont totally "forget" the game.....perhaps u could just skip 5 years and take your turn and we could go out looking for another player for the next turn!
