we perhaps we could start by agreeing on which BB rules we are actually using?

is it 1 or 2 BB per noncore gained by the ai?

and

is it 1/0 or 1/.5 BB lost by loosing noncore/core provinces?

besides that Im ready to go ASAP

Well we do need to account for forcible annexes the ai does for us. Otherwise this brings in situations where player A's ai forcible annexes a country, gaining 1 BB for gaining a province, player B attackes with the purpose of setting it free, attacks (while playing), getting 2 BB, releasing them, -1 BB. The same time player A loses 1 BB again for losing a province. Net gain: Player A, the force-annexer:0, Player B, the liberator: +1 BB.......

well that was sort of the idea....at first anyway...because there is no way to stop the ai from annexing in the first place ...this way u wouldnt be totally crippled if your ai was a bit agressive! - thing is u see main problem of the ai handling of BB points as the ais DoWs...I actually think the main ai problem is its rampant annexations....hmmm why not just drop the whole BB edit and just play on Hard?! (this is getting too complicated)

I like the idea of skipping the edits and playing on hard.

Should we do away with all edits or just the BB edits? (currently we do both inflationary and BB edits)

I want to start soon......

France 1429-33

France kicked ass....SCREENSHOT january 1434

written from memory so please bear with me if there are mistakes:

Starting off at war with Burgundy, Helvetia & Brabrant...Helvetia is annexed and Brabrant and Burgundy each hand over a province.

DoW vs. Austria...war back and forth for a LOONG time finally takes all but capital!

Sometime after attacking Austria, England DoWs me...dragging her new ally Bretagne into the frey together with Mainz...Mainz in annexed and Bretagne reduced to 1 province...England gets off the hook according to agreement! I think I pay them 30d or something....

Someway or another I DoW or they get pulled into the war by other means?!? anyway...I annex Alsace, Luxemburg, Cologne, Baden, Thuringen, Mantua and reduce Bavaria to 1 province....

If u cant be good, you might as well be bad...REAL BAD!

FRANCE we come in Arms!! :D

just finished my turn, chose muscowy
at the end of my turn: inflation = 0.074
I used my free dp click to raise quality, and I did the same with my normal dp click.

In 1434 the Grand Prince's territory had been reduced to the city of Moskva and it's surroundings. That was not acceptable, Tver helped the Prince out by declaring war, After a year of fighting, Tver was incorporated into the Prince's realm.
After that, he looked eastward, Ryazan was next.
In 1439, Muscowy had expanded it's territory by 200%.

Ok guys, this was the second go and we couldn't even finish the first round. I declare this game dead. :D If others with wish to continue I won't be able to make it, I am pretty busy and I have admittedly lost interest.

If others are interested I suggest a new thread with a new game. Post the rules right off the bat, based on this game, and have people join rather than have people reach a consensus. Although I am not sure if I can join myself, mostly because of the busy thing. :) But you never know, still working things out...
