I believe that compulsive discussing about EU3 makes waiting easier. So here we go: do you think that any smart player will manage to assemble and succesfully run EU3 using downloaded files only? Everyting moddable will be availble for download, plus patches.

The game engine will probably not be moddable and not for download without being illegal anyway.

He isn't speaking about piracy. He is speaking if it would be able to construct full game only from patches/mods/demos(if any) and make it able to run.

This way you'll get almost whole game. Only one file will be missing: Eu3.exe
Little bit important file.
If Paradox will make some demo, you'll be probably able to use EXE file from there, but you'll probably not break demo restrictions: unable to save/load, limited time of play, or other. But most probably Eu3 will have no demo.

And the answer is that to do that you will have to pirate the .exe.
