It's particularly terrible in HoI 3, a game where America is one of the most important powers. Also, Denmark was not influential "on a world scale" in the 1400s. Nobody really was.

We were on the Europe wise scale---which pretty much was the World back then. Or the part which mattered at least.

Can't remember how the province setup is in HOI3, but I agree that countries like the US should have a focus on being correct in the HOI series.

No. We actually were one of the foremost countries in Europe for a long part of the EU4 period. Heck even as late as 1864 the Germans actually feared us; though as it turned out that fear was unjustified. But it was based in how we used to be much more powerful.
Remember that the Sound Toll was a gold mine which made the Danish kings some of the richest in Europe.

How so? You can't argue that Europe was the center of the World for this period. Yes, China was rich and powerful too, but she had enough in herself and hence didn't really influence the World like Europe did.
