As long as we can do likewise, I fail to see the issue."The Hispanics will...steal all our womenfolk!"
Partly. I used the short hand of a formal phrase, which can be mistaken as Egyptian.Drat that's Egyptian, isn't it.![]()
Ana kulish zayn. Kayfe haula tux, hanauck?Ana zayn, wa inta?
Fearmongering literally means "selling fear".
What fearmongering?
Also assimilation has shown itself to take considerably longer than 3 generations; in fact we have loads of trouble exactly due to people not being fully assimilated after a few generations. Funnily enough the first generation is much more problem free (pre refugee crisis at least) than the second and third. Part of the problems stem from the second and third generationn feeling neither Danish nor the culture of their parents, but some kind of mix---i.e. feeling they are partially assimilated and don't belong anywhere.
We have clearly been using different textbooks/teachers, because I did not understand any of that second sentence.Partly. I used the short hand of a formal phrase, which can be mistaken as Egyptian.

Sorry for the dialect, it's a hard habit to kick.
Fishmongering = selling fish; fearmongering = selling fear. The more you know!Huh. I did not know that. Makes sense that it's mostly used in relation to the media then!

Nah, I was using Iraqi dialect for that part, since I'm a little unsure of the formal Arabic version. Roughly, it translates to "I'm very good. What's the weather like over there?"We have clearly been using different textbooks/teachers, because I did not understand any of that second sentence.Or maybe you're just further along than I am.
Ah, yes, I haven't gotten to weather yet. Weather is too hard.Nah, I was using Iraqi dialect for that part, since I'm a little unsure of the formal Arabic version. Roughly, it translates to "I'm very good. What's the weather like over there?"
Ah, yes, I haven't gotten to weather yet. Weather is too hard.I'm still on "where is the hotel?" and "please sit down" and "I want tea and milk".
In Arabic? Er... I don't know? When do you get to expressing Danish patriotism?

I bet Lecter could make the same argument about human. If we weren't supposed to eat cow, why is it made out of food?
I bet Lecter could make the same argument about human.
How so? Those who have eaten man described the taste as similar to veal. Cows are mammals, so they probably do have some sentience.Naturalistic fallacy.
