Upon acquiring control of the Argo, there's a pop-up from Yang that says he can now construct Mechs from salvage parts:

However, by that point in Cohh's stream, Yang had already assembled a Jenner and a Panther.

Might not 100% be a bug - there could be good reasons to want mech assembly available sooner, and gameplay concerns > fluff, but in that case the pop-up probably needs to be reworded?
