I just unlocked synths and, naturally, all of my droids upgraded to synths. Then they became enslaved because I mainly use them for mineral extraction (I have weak pops). But my normally happy xenophile faction is very unhappy now because the robots that they built themselves, not aliens, are enslaved. Seriously?!
Also I can't un-enslave them because apparently you're not allowed to have artificial intelligence citizens rights if you're not materialist, according to the policy.
