X Research Wrong! event options reversed?

So you're the king, and one of your top advisers comes to you and tells you that top scholars think the country has been wasting its time on an avenue of research. Your two options are:

1. Admit the mistake, correcting for the error, and looking foolish in the eyes of the world.
2. Stubbornly refuse to admit the mistake, saving face but harming your research prospects.

But these items are reverse in the event! In the event, the options given you are:

1. Admit the mistake, losing a bunch of research and preserving your reputation?
2. Refuse to admit the mistake, which somehow keeps you closer to the next big breakthrough, but which makes you look bad for some reason?

It seems like these are reversed, doesn't it?
