I see these videos as a sample. If it makes just a few people grow an interest and pursue deeper knowledge it's well invested money in my opinion![]()
Also, how to play sometimes 1 video of someone playing is worth pages of description.

Great video! However, I have a question: in the video said that 90% of rubber was produced in Japan. Whereas in the WWW streams there was a lack of rubber in Japan! A British colony on the other hand had a huge surplus. Am I missing something? Maybe something I do not understand correctly?
"Came overrun by Japanese"Japan conquered the areas after pearl harbor in 1941/1942 which Daniel didn't play to.
The intention is good, but funding misinformation, not samples or expositions of facts, theories and true informations is quite harming if you're aiming for deeper knowledge. Supporting misinformation, myths and history distortion is a way only to spread those things, instead of inspiring people to seek more fact true knowledge about the subject. I don't say those things based only on my opinion or by simple prejudice, but as a graduated historian with a Master Degree in Contemporary History and a thesis plus almost decade of studies about European History post WW II, based on WW II events. So when I see BS history, I have to call BS.I see these videos as a sample. If it makes just a few people grow an interest and pursue deeper knowledge it's well invested money in my opinion![]()

Just out of curiosity, which part of that video are you calling BS on?
landlocked Italy and Germany
simplification of motivations for war (Resources)
-japanese rubber production (90% in the world, despite, for example, Brazil was a powerhouse of resources productions, including rubber, for the Allies powers after 1941)
they don't even checked the geography of the subject they were talking about or the factual history and mistaken that Sarajevo was in Serbia, not in Bosnia, and that Serbia was a vassal state of Austria-Hungary
Does this even really matter? They got the name wrong? Again, doesn't change or effect the story at all of how a general European war occurred.they tell blant wrong the name of the nationalist terrorist organisation that executed the attack that killed the heir to the Austrian-Hungarian throne
they also blant wrong say that the Archduke was son of the incumbent emperor, while in fact he was his nephew
I understood exactly what you said. You confused my disagreement with a lack of understanding. Given your qualifications you should be familiar with the concept of disagreement. Goodness knows, there is a very great deal of it in your profession. Do you always confuse disagreement with a lack of understanding?
History is about the story, the what and the why. Your emphasis on names and familial relations completely gets in the way of the main focus of your profession. You do yourself and your profession a disservice.
Just to mention a few that I identified in this video, despite I know there is more but I will not dedicate my time to nitpick every little thing:
-landlocked Italy and Germany
-simplification of motivations for war (Resources)
-japanese rubber production (90% in the world, despite, for example, Brazil was a powerhouse of resources productions, including rubber, for the Allies powers after 1941)
Other videos have many BS that they don't even adress in the episodes they call 'Lies', presented by a hippie guy, where they try to correct some mistakes and fact checking the series. One of the worst mistakes they made, in my opinion, was in the World War One series, where :
-they don't even checked the geography of the subject they were talking about or the factual history and mistaken that Sarajevo was in Serbia, not in Bosnia, and that Serbia was a vassal state of Austria-Hungary;
-they tell blant wrong the name of the nationalist terrorist organisation that executed the attack that killed the heir to the Austrian-Hungarian throne;
-they also blant wrong say that the Archduke was son of the incumbent emperor, while in fact he was his nephew;
That is WW I history 101, if you miss that kind of stuff you are more to Extra Story then to Extra History. Plus @Fulmen said before, they are called out in the comentaries in many videos they made.
At no moment I said you don't understand,
sorry mate if you don't understand half of things that I said
History is a process, a construct based on facts, sources, informations and interpretations, based on a handfull of different theories, and that is just being plain simple and close to wrong, since the Theory of History is the most complex area in academic history.
Does this even really matter? They got the name wrong?
Er, yeah. It does matter. I get that you want to defend the video and win the Internet Argument but I think that basic factual accuracy is the least you can expect from historical analysis.
