WW2 not firing

I am very new to Darkest Hour and decided to play as Germany. After annexing Austria and Czechoslovakia I prepared for the war in Poland. I demanded Danzig and the poles accepted, and after that I accepted the decision that declares war on Poland anyways. However, there has been no reactions from the other world powers and it seems as though WW2 has not fired. I have already annexed and partitioned Poland by now but still no reactions, what's up with that?

Also, I heard that there is a decision that lets you cede land in Slovakia to Hungary to make them join the axis, this event has not fired either, but that's probably beacuse I annexed Czechoslovakia outright.

Propably Poland in event refuse British Alliance proposal and not join Allies.

You got the lame "Peace In Our Time" outcome, though it is rare. Steamrolling the SU should still be fun and then you can prepare a super tactical navy with jet cags.

Oh, and screw Nippon(Japan) when they declare war. Germany ideally can spend another five years and advance all of its allies with badaϟϟ tech and bend global relations to your will with sweet trades.
