WW1 campaign?

There is a WW1 campiagn with this game I have heard.

how good is it? Or can anyone point me to the best mod for a WW1 campiagn? i also hear the Kaiserreich mod is very good?

I have given up on HOI4 for now and want something that is immersive, and has a half-decent AI.

If you can get past regressing from HOI3 to essentially HOI2 (and some love HOI2 compared to 3), then Kaiserreich is amazing.

I love it, but I must admit the map and HQ rules are hard for me to stomach.

The AI isn't all that much better here, though. The WWI AI in particular is infuriating (there is a reddit thread on this somewhere).
