Very few explanations or motivations were given for the HC runup. If it was a deliberate wolf-pack move, they either got lucky or they used quite a few of their members.
Re-read it and actually it was gigau that broke the tie (his vote was on Cliges at first), not AVN. So in fact only Cody was a bit late to the party.
well often such things are orchestrated by 1 or 2 people. the trick is timing. people like to jump on bandwagons. its our nature. sometimes they are fluid, sometimes they are manipulated into existence.
its too early to tell what happened. but we note it down for later!
I had no ill will against hc but had to survive. Everyone was doing random throwaways until xaldin added a 2nd vote to hc's against me. No big deal at the time, but relatively soon afterward, 3rd and 4th votes came my way. The only other serious contender was xaldin, who I had voted earlier, basically at random as a joke, and expected no follow ups. At that time, the two votes against me seemed innocuous. When the xaldin drive seemed stalled, I switched to HC just to try and save myself.
I doubt that HC meant to start a bandwagon against me, but one did get going, and fast at that.

I'd be happy to hear an explanation or motivation for the run-up vs myself, beyond "someone has to lose the vote".
Indeed, i broke a tie, as i agreed that a first-day-vote on a new player isn't the nicest thing to do. And i didn't want to break a tie to create another, even 4 hours before deadline as i knew i couldn't be there to correct things later on. So only choices were to make a throwaway or vote HC.
Not sure how the bandwagon started though.
And hdk, instead of asking who we are lynching and repudiating our votes, you may want to do something constructive, and make suggestions...
