I now feel bad for having been the first one to vote for Avernite.

realized that the consumptive trait is a bit poorly written. the pack that eats the consumptive player cannot hunt on its next hunt go around, even if it is not the next night.

avernite - captaingrimlock; wagonlitz; arkasas;

@Avernite , the wise guru and SEER! was hunted!
Ok this looks mighty suspicious in my view for a first day. Graymarch got into the lead quite late with no real pushback and was a part of a pack now down two, so I think the above is better to focus on.

I'll excuse CaptainGrimlock for casting the first of what appears to be a random vote. But Wagon piled on and Arkasas as well with a very lazy vote at a late stage. If a pack either knew Avernite's identity (sorc starts in contact with a pack and cultists can scan to boot, I just checked the rules) or believed he was saved, they could've resorted with a hunt. I'd say both Arkasas and Wagonlitz need a look at. I think Arky looks worse and will start there.

This doesn't really make sense. If a pack knew the seer's identity and had the hunt they would rather hunt than lynch him 100% of the time

This game doesn't seem interesting enough. I think in the update, half of all players should be eliminated arbitrarily. Having a bunch more dead companions would make more things happen I bet.
Wait for it...

I’ll probably be very busy tomorrow, so I’ll leave a place holding Vote.
I think we should keep an eye on Avernite’s voters but, it’s day one and we still don’t have a lot of information.

I really haven’t seen a reason to move my vote yet, so unless some Jam style shenanigans happen, I’ll stay right here.

Even after Avernite stated why he shouldn’t die , CaptainGrimlock decided to keep him at the top. Could be nothing since it’s day one, but we’ll see.

This doesn't really make sense. If a pack knew the seer's identity and had the hunt they would rather hunt than lynch him 100% of the time
IF they had the hunt.
Maybe they were the other pack (if there are two, most likely), if they didn’t hunt that night they could get a “free” lynch on the seer and hunt someone else the next night.

Logical. After all, Avernite was the seer, but it’s possible to accidentally vote for the seer.
Even after Avernite stated why he shouldn’t die , CaptainGrimlock decided to keep him at the top. Could be nothing since it’s day one, but we’ll see.
It would have been simpler if I had a vote count so that I knew who the top candidates were.
IF they had the hunt.
Maybe they were the other pack (if there are two, most likely), if they didn’t hunt that night they could get a “free” lynch on the seer and hunt someone else the next night.
A logical response to the idea that Avernite voters aren’t cleared because it’s day 1. However, this next bit is odd
VOTE CAPTAINGRIMLOCK
Since there is no reason given beyond ”He didn’t see a reason to switch on day 1 without a vote count or any really wolfish candidates.”

Since my best voice is my vote

Just a thought...

if night 0- A wereyak was hunted, we could safely assume it was done by the other pack.
@MAWofdoom WEREYAK of the HORNS OF TERROR!!! was hunted in the night
So this hunt, on Avernite was done by the Horns of Terror pack. Meaning they knew Avernite was gonna be hunted. So maybe the ones who voted for me tried saving Graymarch?
@R.Graymarch CULTIST OF THE HORNS OF TERROR was lynched!
@Avernite , the wise guru and SEER! was hunted

I’ll sleep on it. I’ll keep my vote where it is at this point.

They could've known or they could've suspected. Attempted lynch of the seer is very tempting for baddies. It's not very bright, no, and I say let's find out if they were this stupid.
Sleepyhead's post used a lot of words to avoid voting both Captain Grim and Wagon. I kinda side with Panzer on reasoning being weak.
I have but one vote, I'd be fine with a runup on both Wagon and Arkasas at this stage. CaptainGrimlock cast the first vote which IMO is somewhat less suspicious than what the other two did, now knowing Avernite's role and the hunt target.
Note how Wagonlitz did not address the point of his own vote today.

Sleepy's case is exceptionally moronic. First the possibility that the wolves would know the seer by day 1 is ludicrously low and unlikely, it's more likely they hit the seer by random chance. And even if they did, the wolves would have absolutely no reason to then try and lynch him, since they can just hunt him that night. It's pointless to try and lynch him, because firstly it's a crapshoot trying to get someone specific lynched day 1, and second if they succeed that's just painting a target on their back because there's no easier vote for lazy villagers, and wolves of the other pack, than "X lynched the seer."

And he himself admits his theory only has a chance of being right if the wolves are stupid. And it's moronic to presuppose the wolves are stupid before making a case against them.

But what strikes me the most about Sleepyhead's case against Arkasas, is that there is an actual valid case against Arkasas, not one which relies upon wild luck and Arkasas being stupid. Arkasas' vote on Avernite isn't suspicious because Avernite turned out to be the seer, but because when Arkasas made it there was a threeway tie between Avernite, Agatha, and Graymarch, which he broke in favor of lynching avernite. Now granted there wasn't really a votecount and so it's difficult to conclusively say Arkasas knew he was doing that, but Graymarch had had two votes for a while. Since Arkasas' vote was made with about an hour to deadline, it's possible that this was a defensive vote to protect Graymarch.

At the very least it's much more likely than the wolves finding out the seer day 1 and trying to publicly lynch him for no reason.

Vote Arkasas

Arkasas, Sleepy and Agatha all look like good votes to me. In case of Arkasas I find myself agreeing with Aedan, in case of Sleepy, it is because of his reasoning (but I like that he probably is the most active player) and Agatha's post just feel bland, like justifying something without conviction.
So, for now to make a proper wagon among other reasons.
