How about a Dwarf Fortress themed game?

I have no idea what Dwarf Fortress is (it's a game?) but if the villagers are dwarves locked up in a mine them you got the claustrofobia part of the theme covered. The question is what a werewolf is in a dwarf setting? I guess it could just be a werewolf that turns into a dwarf shape in daylight... Hm, daylight in a mine... Anyway, I don't think we've ever had a game with dwarves in it so...How about a Dwarf Fortress themed game?
If I recall correctly, the Dwarf Fortress creator wants to incorporate Werewolf/Mafia elements into it, having already put in vampirism that can lead to one of your dwarfs secretly drinking booze from the other dwarves' veins.
Yes. Sort of. Pretty open-ended build-your-own-crazy-fort building game.
Think "simcity on nerdoids".

You should do a star con theme, if you plan to GM any time soon. That hasn't been done. :ninja:

I'm considering hosting a game not a big, but not a lite either a mix, like a mid game, with some traits ie priest, seer, apprentice, sorcerer, and hunter, maybe another one, and having like 20 max players and one pack of 4 wolves plus some special tonkfoolery, any opinions on this?
Don't want to start out with a big game, and think lites should have more traits to make them funner
Start with a lite. Then you can go on to a small big game.
Srsly though, make a lite game right now.

Meso was different again. It was more like Lite with two packs who both hunted every night. I think each pack knew the other pack's identities, too.
Interesting for the wolves, no good at all for the villagers.
The fun in Lite is not in traits. It's in the challenge and simplicity that the concept presents.
Tonka don't rush into hosting a big. It is a whole different world than doing a lite. I wish I had played a few more bigs, I think I would have made fewer mistakes that way. If you really want to do it, go for it. It is a HUGE learning experience. I have learned a lot from Randy and EUROO7 this game. Just be aware that it is several orders of magnitude more complicated than a lite. After this I feel I could host a lite in my sleep.
