I don't know if this is a bug but... in 3b

I was playing a game as Zeeland, my ruler was of Dutch culture and I start to conquer Estonia. Sometime later under a new ruler also Dutch my provonces started converting, they changed to Catholic of course, but some of them also changed to German culture. Later my dynasty ended up Kings of Sweden and while still dutch several more provinces changed, again to German. eventually my King was Swedish Catholic and still provinces were changing to German catholic.

I was wondering if 1.03 was hardcoding cultural changes, but then I got Castilian Lisbon.

last night I was playing the Count of Braganza (Portugese Catholic), I had a lucky break and was able to capture Lisboa, amazingly only a few years later it converted to Castilian Catholic. My ruler was Portugese my rulers wife was Portugese and no Castilians were in my court.

In previous games under 1.02 I had conversions in Spain and the Baltic to Swedish, in Georgia to Italian and Irish, etc...

I had a similar experience as a Saxon duke of Lancaster. My family does have many Norman wives. I saw numerous culture conversions in Baltic area from Pagan culture to Norman culture. I don´t know if this is bug but there is also another explanation. Lancaster is a part of England and England is usually ruled by a Norman king and Dutch provinces are a part of HRE which is usually ruled by a German king. I think it is possible that the culture of liege may also matter.

the culture of the liege makes sense, but then what about when I became King of Sweden? new provinces kept converting to German culture

Later in the Braganza game I also became King of Spanish Galicia. I was just playing when Evora converted again to Castilian. I can't believe it is supoosed to be tied to the title. I guess I need to do some testing.

I can tell you from my experience as king of poland. I started as polish but my family eventually became russian through the mother i'm sure. As soon as this happened my provinces started to go russian instead of polish. So i can say with relative certainty that it follows the kings culture or duke or count whatevers is in charge of that province.

I've had the same experience with the duke of Toulouse. My liege is now the German Emperor but my culture is castillan.
Any culture change in my provinces is to german culture , which I think should be modified.
