Neither can I, but so far any attempts to convince the Devs to include Judaism are quickly shot down. My guess is they will make Khazars Tengrii and that will be the end of it.

I think it's mostly because there weren't any Jewish areas of note, so it might change now there is actually a Jewish Kingdom.

I just hope that this dlc will make the pagans a force again. If i play in the north east it feels i need to attack the pagans not because they are a mortal threat, but because i need to claim the land i want before the other christians get there.

The pagans are almost all gone by the time the teutonic order arrives, leading to them being granted lands in the urals.

Well, the Khazars were gone by 1066 and the map cuts south just above the kingdom of Semien, so it isnt reaaaally a necessity to have judaism in in that time period. But then again we have zoroastrianism so I see your point.

Speaking og Zoroaster, I hope they go ahead and make a tag for the Sassanid Empire :p

I noticed that too. Considering that paganism survives in the area until after the game's timeframe, it seems like Christian aggressiveness should be scaled back. Which is why I really hope we'll see more options for peaceful relations with pagans.

Norse paganism was just about dead in 1066 whereas Finnish paganism for example would survive centuries. Not to mention Tengrism.

Norse paganism was definitely not dead in 1066 in Sweden but it was dead everywhere else and dying there. It's still possible to have it on 1066 but it leaves a very limited selection for norse pagans.
Anyway, I hope (and believe) this won't be only about norse pagans but all pagans. I can't wait to try baltic pagans and tengrism too.

Norse paganism was just about dead in 1066 whereas Finnish paganism for example would survive centuries. Not to mention Tengrism.

Tbh thats exactly how I would name a pagan DLC for my game, regardless of content. Vikings and their norse gods are catchy, grab attention, reminds you of horned helmets, etc. You gotta remember the average joe just checking the new releases on steam, and he's gonna be confused as heck if he sees something called "Strenght of The Suomenusko" while with "Rage Of Odin" you might as well just write "VIKINGS, PILLAGINNG, GRAB IT NOW!!" in the description in order to get more than a few casual impulse buys right there.

I hope they split Slavic Pagans out as a separate religion and do not bunch them together with the Baltic Pagans. And I also hope they improve the pagans in Mali. While I understand if they do not spend much time on Mali I would love if they just improved it a little bit by making more provinces and characters pagan and trying to find a better name for traiditional Mandé religion than "Pagan".

EDIT: I agree with OrdepNM about why it probably was named Wrath of Odin. Names should be catchy and easy to remember. This is usually more important than them being descriptive and correct.

I think 1 DLC per pagan religion is overkill, unfeasible and undesirable. Do you really want them to spend the rest of the development cycle just fleshing oout pagans? Sure, all pagan religions in the time period are widely different, but in game terms, just how different are they that they'd each need brand new custom build features to warrant a separate dlc? I say a handful of religion-specific events is good enough to flesh out a pagan culture, togheter with some broad game mechanics that can apply to all religions (like interaction with Abrahamic religions).

To be honest, only the Norse, the Tengriists and the Lithuanians are interesting, the others could as well be generic. But I do want extra features for Steppe Nomads and for Lithuania.
