I was playing away as France, just seeing how things ran and trying to create a historical French Empire, when this happened.

Socialists in Sweden? Could be worth delaying release to look into.

I really like the army list, It looks like the how they get named it brilliant!

The event gives an additional boost to socialist support in the country it happens in? or is the it having a location just a flavour thing?

I named them myself.

The location depends on how that country is doing.

Presumably, the Liberal Revolutions would be happening prior to the event allowing socialists.

Yes.

i hate getting hit by liberal revolution.

thats why prefer Russia, where my serfs are happy and illiterate :)

But note that all of Bohemia, Moravia and Austrian Silesia were taken - very realistic. Kudos to the AI.

Well you see it went something like this, Austria decided to attack Prussia to force them to accept that Austria is the only Great Power in Germany. Prussia started to win and then since the war was going decided, well why not expand the war a little.

Would guess that communism is triggered later (considering A-L are triggered during the game, while liberals are there from the start). There weren't really any ideological split between communists and social democrats until the late 19th - early 20th century.

And I think it was mentioned in a dev diary how the upper house will support reforms if country militancy gets too high.

Sorry missed the original question, but yes Communism comes later. One country needs the right conditions for Communism to come into play for everyone.
